Scholarship policy at Hanoi Academy

With the desire to create motivation and “incubate” talents for students at all levels, every year Hanoi Academy always offers scholarships to candidates who want to register as well as students studying at the school.

Scholarships at Hanoi Academy help students at different levels of study have the opportunity to experience an international learning environment with quality training focusing on English. Thereby, students easily adapt to the current integration context and become global citizens, useful to society.

1. Purpose/Reason:

In order to attract students with excellent academic achievements to study at Hanoi Academy.
Support enrollment for the new school year 2024-2025.
Recognition of outstanding academic and training achievements of students at Hanoi Academy.

2. Content

The Marketing & Admission department proposes to develop and implement a scholarship policy for the academic year 2024-2025, specifically as follows:

PARTICIPANTS

All students across the country wishing to register and study at Hanoi Academy in the academic year 2024-2025 and existing students of Hanoi Academy.

SCHOLARSHIP STRUCTURE

02 scholarship worth VND 100,000,000.
04 scholarships worth VND 50,000,000.
10 scholarships worth VND 25,000,000.
10 scholarships worth VND 25,000,000.
20 scholarships worth VND 15,000,000.

SCHOLARSHIP ASSESSMENT PROCESS

The scholarship consideration process at Hanoi Academy goes through 4 rounds:

Round 1: Approval of documents
Round 2: Essay in Vietnamese / English is encouraged by topic
Round 3: Interview, presentation

The scholarship application dossier includes:

Application form for approval according to the school’s form
Birth Certificate (Not applicable to students outside Hanoi Academy)
Photocopies of academic records, report cards for the last 2 years of study and report cards of the most recent semester (Not applicable to students outside of Hanoi Academy)
Certificate of achievement of exams
Certificate of participation in social activities and events
4×6 photo (4 photos)

SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA

Scholarship worth VND 100,000,000

Academic records: Excellent Achievement, Good Conduct for Primary students and Good
Performance, Good Conduct for High School students.
Certificate of winning international prizes in Culture, Sports and Gifted Competitions
Test: Achieve 9/10 points in Math and Literature exams. English meets the requirements according to the reference table, the school’s entrance standards. (Applicable to students outside Hanoi Academy)
Get 9/10 points for TA essay and presentation

Scholarship worth VND 50,000,000

Academic records: Excellent Achievement, Good Conduct for Primary students and Good
Performance, Good Conduct for High School students.
Certificate of winning international and national prizes in Culture, Sports and Gifted Competitions
Test: Get 8/10 points in Math and Literature exams. English meets the requirements according to the reference table, the school’s entrance standards. (Applicable to students outside Hanoi Academy)
Get 8/10 points for TA essay and presentation

Scholarship worth 10,000,000 – 25,000,000 VND

Academic records: Excellent Achievement, Good Conduct for Primary students and Good
Performance, Good Conduct for High School students.
Won international, national and city prizes in cultural, gifted and sports competitions.
Test: Get 8/10 points in Math and Literature exams. English meets the requirements according to the reference table, the school’s entrance standards. (Applicable to students outside Hanoi Academy)

PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION TIME

Receive scholarship applications: 10/04-23/04/2024
Round 1: Review of documents: 23/04-30/04/2024.
Round 2: Students outside Hanoi Academy take the entrance exam: May 04, 2024.
Round 3: Interview and presentation: May 11, 2024.
Announcement of scholarship results: May 18, 2024.
